I am a Research Scientist specializing in computational modeling of rarefied gas and plasma flows using Lagrangian CFD techniques. My current work simulates gas-surface interactions using the LAMMPS Molecular Dynamics code to determine drag on Very Low Earth Orbit (VLEO) satellites.
In the past, I investigated single and multi-thruster plume impingement for de-spinning and capturing tumbling space debris using SPARTA DSMC, aiming to contribute to space debris mitigation efforts.
My other research interests are hypersonic aerothermodynamics and electric propulsion.
